Ayan Acharyya is a Kolkata-based visual artist, motion designer, and indie filmmaker, and the founder of Applita, a multidisciplinary creative studio that brings together motion graphics, visual storytelling, advertising, animation, and independent cinema under one cohesive vision. With over 15 years of experience, Ayan has collaborated with 300+ global brands and creative teams across the US, UK, Norway, and beyond, delivering premium motion design and narrative-driven visual campaigns for international audiences
His career began with leading media and entertainment organizations in India, including Ramoji Film City, Technicolor, Gameberry Labs, Media Factory, and Aptech, before expanding into direct collaboration with 300+ international brands and creative teams across the US, UK, Norway, and beyond. These experiences shaped the foundation of Applita, a studio focused on clarity, craft, and originality, producing cinematic ad films, motion design, animation, VFX, branding, and AI-driven content for global audiences, while continuing to pursue independent filmmaking as a meaningful artistic practice
