Written and directed by Ayan Acharyya, Selfie is a poignant short film that calls for Indian women to assert their identity not only in the chants of Mahalaya or the clay idols of Durga Puja, but within themselves. Amid the festive spirit of Durga Puja, a woman trapped in an abusive marriage hallucinates a happy life with her husband until she decides to reclaim her identity.
